O’Connell appears on Reyes’s weekly TV show
EL PASO - Border Trade Alliance President Maria Luisa O’Connell appeared on U.S. Rep. Silvestre Reyes’s weekly TV program “Congress on the Border”, July 4. The show is broadcast on Time Warner Channel 15 in El Paso on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. O’Connell will discuss the current passport backlog due to the Department of Homeland Security’s and Department of State’s latest initiatives concerning the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. O’Connell recently met with DHS’s Secure Borders Open Doors Advisory Committee meeting. On the show, Reyes also talks about immigration and the U.S. southern border. - Rio Grande Guardian
