Conference Description

  • Participants will get a complete update on the state of international trade and security and its impact on logistics
  • By participating in this conference, attendees will have the opportunity to network with other foreign corporations in Mexico and border community leaders and learn about how the challenge of public safety is impacting them
  • Learn first-hand from federal authorities about the strategies being implemented to safeguard foreign trade and the economy
  • The attendees will also have the opportunity to provide direct input to the different BTA leaders that will be providing recommendations to the U.S. and Mexico administrations regarding the current challenges of cross-border trade and the need to improve efficiency

Conference Objectives

  • Objectively analyze the competitive strategies to improve logistics in Mexico
  • Get insight from industry experts on how to cost effectively operate a supply chain in Mexico
  • Identify the current challenges the U.S. and Mexico are facing in regards to public safety
  • Identify three recommendations to both federal governments to address a balance between trade and public safety
  • Conduct a current assessment of the trade relationship between Mexico and the United States from the private sector's perspective to present to the U.S. administration
  • For the participants to be informed about what current strategies are being implemented along the border and what tools are at their disposal for more efficient and secure trade
