Border Trade Alliance encourages action on Rio Grande water allocations

The Border Trade Alliance sent this letter to the Department of State and Department of Agriculture on April 17, 2024, regarding Mexico’s compliance with the 1944 treaty between our two countries on the tributaries that flow into the Rio Grande, encouraging the organizations to take immediate action to engage in negotiations with Mexico to ensure that they meet the terms of the agreement.
