In advance of the virtual hearings on August 13th and 20th to consider foreign trade practices that may be harming American growers of seasonal and perishable, the BTA led members of the Arizona Congressional delegation in a letter to Ambassador Lighthizer.

The letter specifically addresses concerns regarding a seasonality provision “whereby certain Mexican tomatoes could be subjected to additional dumping duties at various times throughout the year,” which “would affect jobs and economic development in Arizona.”
