Border Trade Alliance to Abbott: “Enhanced” truck inspections harming border trade

The Border Trade Alliance sent this letter to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to once again share our opposition to his administration’s truck inspections that are duplicative and disruptive to cross-border commerce. The May 2023 inspections mark the third time in 13 months the Texas inspections have led to backups and congestion in and around border communities.
