Border Trade Alliance Welcomes Five New Members to Board of Directors
WASHINGTON – The Border Trade Alliance today announced the addition of five new members to its board of directors.
Jim Darling – Jim Darling is the mayor of McAllen, Texas. Before serving as mayor, Mr. Darling served as McAllen’s city attorney and as an assistant city manager. Mr. Darling is general counsel to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance.
Matias Rosales – Matias Rosales is the vice-mayor of San Luis, Arizona, a border community of 31,000 in southern Yuma County. The city borders San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora on the Mexican side. Mr. Rosales has served as the city’s parking and traffic commissioner and as a Yuma County planning and zoning commissioner.
Jim Ryan – Jim Ryan is the senior vice president for Constellation Brands Beer Division. Constellation is the number three beer company in the U.S. with high-end, iconic imported brands including Corona Extra, Corona Light, Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo and Pacifico. Mr. Ryan is responsible for managing all of Constellation’s federal, state and local government, trade and industry affairs and the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program.
Stan Korosec – Stan Korosec is the director of security and Canadian government relations for the Ambassador Bridge Company. The Ambassador Bridge is the busiest commercial crossing in North America, responsible for carrying more than 25 percent of all merchandise trade between the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining the Ambassador, Mr. Korosec was vice president of operations for Blue Water Bridge Canada.
Roger McCrary – Roger McCrary is the director of global trade and compliance for Delphi Automotive, LLC. He is responsible for the design, implementation maintenance and enhancement of a global trade operations, compliance, optimization, and advocacy infrastructure for this top Tier One automotive supply company.

Hereford is the director of government affairs and business development for S&B Infrastructure in San Antonio, Texas. His fellow officers are Vice-Chair Russ Jones, president of R.L. Customhouse Brokers, Inc.; Secretary Carrie Stumfall, director of business development for Hunt-Mexico, Inc.; Co-Treasurer Ivan Jaime, director – public affairs for Union Pacific; and Co-Treasurer Julian Alvarez, president and CEO of the Rio Grande Valley Partnership
